FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How should I order?

You can order by email, fax or phone. Generally, it is best to order by phone so that we can check off any details with you. For orders not placed over the phone, it is best to order at least 24 hours in advance so that we can confirm its receipt by return fax or email.

How much notice is required when placing an order?

We are accustomed to emergency orders, placed by phone. Nevertheless, more notice is always appreciated. It allows us to purchase ingredients from our preferred suppliers and serve you outside of our normal hours.

What happens if I want an item that is not on your menu?

No problems at all, just let us know and we will try to get it for you.

What provision can you make for 'special needs' participants?

Vegetarian recipes are included in all of our menu items. Special provision may be made for participants who require gluten-free, low carb or low GI foods.

How much food will be sufficient to feed my participants?

This will depend on the group size, the length of the break and the mix of the food that is being provided. We are happy to advise you as to what will be needed. However, as a basic rule, each person should receive 1½ rounds of sandwiches, or, for a cocktail function, between 6 and 8 serves of finger food.

Can you assemble a suggested menu for me?

Yes, if you tell us a little about what type of function you are conducting, we can assemble a range of menu options for your perusal. This can be especially valuable where you will be catering for the same group over successive days, or where you would like to sample a variety of finger food without having to scrutinize the entire range.

Can you produce a menu to suit my budget?

Yes.

Do you provide staff and equipment?

This is not part of our normal service, however, on some occasions we can organize this for you.

What is the cost of delivery?

Delivery is free wherever possible. Where necessary, we merely pass on costs of delivery.

How can I set up a corporate account?

The account will be set up automatically when you place your first order. Payments can be made by electronic transfer, visa, mastercard, cash or cheque. Remittance details are on the bottom of our invoice.
